Highland Youth Ministry
Seen. Known. Loved.
That’s our vision. At Highland, we want every person who walks through our doors to experience these three truths, especially our youth.
Who We Are
Our youth ministry is a place where middle and high school students (6th–12th grade) can:
- Build a safe and welcoming community
- Experience genuine kindness and friendship
- Find accountability and support in their faith journey
- Learn about their Creator, God
- Live out their faith be serving their neighbors
- Discover what it means to be a faithful follower of Christ
We believe youth matter deeply to God, and we want them to know that they are beloved children of God.
Our passionate team of volunteers, alongside our Youth Director Sarah Hostetter, are committed to walking this journey of faith with each student.
What to Expect
When you come to Youth Group, you’ll be welcomed with open arms. You don’t have to be a member of Highland or even a Christian to join us. Together, we:
- Eat, laugh, and play
- Read and discuss the Bible
- Ask honest questions
- Remind each other of God’s love
Our ministry is about open doors, lasting relationships, and a non-judgmental space to grow in faith and friendship.
When We Meet
The Youth Group gathers every Sunday night from 4:00 – 6:00 PM in the Youth Room.
Each week includes:
-
Fellowship & fun
-
A big snack (because food always brings us together!)
-
Bible study connected to the same themes preached in Sunday worship, helping families to have rich, faith-filled conversations at home.
Beyond Sundays
Throughout the year, we host special events, service projects, retreats, and more. Check out our calendar for upcoming opportunities!
