Sunday Morning Worship
Ignite at 9:30 AM
Children are invited to enter freely into the Ignite worship space on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am from September through May (except November 26th and December 31st, 2023). Volunteers are present to support families at this time.
Nursery during 10:00 AM Worship Service
Children ages 0 to 3 are invited to the nursery from 9:45 am until 10 minutes after the end of the service under the care of our SafeChurch volunteers. Sunday morning worship begins at 10:00 am.
Sunday School for Children during 10:00 AM Worship Service
Children ages 4 through 5th grade are invited to remain with their grown-ups in the sanctuary until they are dismissed for Sunday School during the service. SafeChurch volunteers will escort children to their classrooms for a Bible lesson, activity, and fellowship. (Children should be registered for Sunday School before going into the sanctuary.) Activity bags are available in the classrooms to be picked up before and returned after the service for children who prefer to remain with their grown-ups during the entire service. All children should be picked up within 10 minutes of the end of the service.
Children in grades 6 and above are welcome to sit together during the worship service, remain with their grown-up, or assist in the children’s classrooms during the service. Sign-ups are required.
Gym Jam
Gym Jam meets every Wednesday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM in Highland’s Gym from September through March. Parents/Guardians and kids 0-5 are welcome to come and socialize, ride all sorts of riding toys, bounce in the bounce house, slide, run, crawl, and play when the weather gets too cold to play outdoors.

Socials & Special Events
Kids, youth, and families of all ages are invited to attend regularly scheduled social events for fellowship and community-building. Some of the activities include luncheons, Egg hunts, intergenerational work trips, Christmas Eve service, outdoor movies, and more!

5th Grade Youth Group
Where 5th graders get a taste of being in Youth Group. Themed discussion about what it means to be and have a friend. Show up or RSVP to Jennifer Weitzel.
Once a month on specific Sundays.
4:30-6:30 PM in The Youth Room.

Night Out
Family Night Out at Cherry Crest Farms
Oct. 25, 6:00-9:30 PM; Drop in event. All ages welcome. Grown-ups must attend with children 5th grade and under.
Kids Night Out
Where kids ages 4 through 5th grade eat, play games, and make Christmas gifts. Parents enjoy a night out. Dec. 6, 6:00-8:30 PM $10/child, $30/family max. RSVP to Jennifer Weitzel by Nov. 27.

Working Adults Lunches

WOVEN Book Discussion
Where adults meet to discuss the book Nurturing a Faith Your Kid Doesn’t Have to Heal From. 9/10, 10/8, 11/12, 12/10 at 4:15 PM, Fruitville Pike Starbucks. Show up or RSVP to Jennifer Weitzel.
2nd Saturday Supper
