Winter Sermon Series: Body & Soul

Winter Sermon Series: Body & Soul

Written 450 years ago, with much influence from Martin Luther and the Reformation, the Heidelberg  Catechism offers answers to questions people were asking then and are still asking today:

  • Who am I?
  • What’s wrong with this world?
  • What’s the purpose of my life?
  • Why should I follow Jesus?
  • How can I be close to God?

Dr. Rabey is offering a 5-week sermon series through to Feb 11, based on Craig Barnes’ new book Body & Soul: Reclaiming the Heidelberg Catechism. We will take a closer look at this classic expression of faith, one of tweleve in our Book of Confessions, address the everyday anxieties people face today, and see how these answers apply to our lives to help bring us closer to God.
