• PROCLAIMS THE CENTRALITY OF WORSHIP: Highland Presbyterian Church is to be a community of faith where worship is the illuminating center of our lives. In our worship we:
  • Expect all the generations to gather in order to bring praise and honor to God
  • Acknowledge God present in the world and in our lives
  • Are transformed and renewed through prayer, scripture, music, and the Sacraments which equip us for God's service in all our relationships, i.e., in our homes, in the workplace, in our schools, in time of recreation
  • Proclaim the Word of God where we are awakened to God's abounding grace and profound mercy

• NURTURES THE LIVES OF THE BAPTIZED: Highland Presbyterian Church is to be a community of faith where we nurture faith journeys, born in baptism, centered in worship, fed at the Lord's Table, and fostered through Christian Education and small group ministries. We affirm the rich tradition of education we have inherited in the Presbyterian Church and know its power to change lives. We offer all members opportunities to learn the lessons of faith and t be energized by the Holy Spirit to seek ways to live what they have learned.

• ENCOURAGES SERVANT LEADERSHIP IN A WORLD OF NEED: Highland Presbyterian Church is to be a community of faith where we encourage and celebrate servant leadership. Servant Leadership is reaching out into the world to serve Christ by helping others. We urge the congregation to utilize their spiritual gifts in service for all of God's people, realizing that we are each called to ministry as people of faith.
