Music at Highland 2008

For more than 25 years, Highland has been known throughout Lancaster County for its choir and music ministry. Musical groups at Highland include:

  • Chancel Choir (70 members) Director: Dr. Simon Andrews
  • Chancel Bells Director: Dan Falvey
  • Highland Ringers (grades 6 -12) Director: Dr. Simon Andrews
  • Highland Orchestra
  • Highland Brass
  • Free Spirit formerly known as the Praise Band
  • Highland Singers Choir (grades 7-12) Director: Kelly Knouse
  • Choristers (Grades 3 - 5) Director: Johanne Baker
  • Junior Choristers (age5 - Grade 2) Director: Kirsten Potteiger

Highland sponsors an annual Dorothy Rose Smith Concert Series, hosts the summer "Lemonade Concert" series, and other special musical events throughout the year.

Dorothy Rose Smith Concert Series continues with Highland's Chancel Choir with former member participating, Chancel Bells, Free Spirit, the Highland Ringers and Singers, and the Children Choirs (Choristers and Junior Choristers) on Sunday, May 25  

at 4:00 p.m. This is also Highland Church's 50th Anniversary Concert.
