Mission Groups

Highland members continue a rich history of participation in a broad range of local and global mission activities.

Mission groups at Highland include: Local Outreach: partners with more than 20 organizations in Lancaster County ~ Global Outreach: partners with Presbyterian mission workers worldwide ~ Justice, Peace and Reconciliation seeks to apply faith to peace and justice issues ~ Market Share: grocery store certificates earn funds for mission projects.

Highland with Habitat for Humanity has completed 3 houses and works continuously with HFH.

Highland youth and adults participate in a variety of annual mission trips to national locations (e.g. North Carolina, West Virginia, New Orleans) and international locations, such as El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Ethiopia.

Highland supports many other local and global mission projects.

Summer Mission Trips

El Salvador - June 12-19 - fifteen people from Highland will be going to El Salvador to help build a Pastoral Center and deliver medical and school supplies.

Mars Hill SC Mission Trip - Ninty people from Highland (this includes 45 youth) will travel to SC to help refurbish homes.
