JOY (Just Older Youth)

JOY (Just Older Youth) formerly called Third Friday Gathering, is led by former “Highlander” team leaders AND new members with energy and enthusiasm to accomplish new things and to expand participation. The leadership team plans 3-4 gatherings during the year to connect post-career individuals with each other for fun, fellowship, food and learning new things. Recent activities include:

• How to Keep Your Brain Healthy
• Summer Picnic & Photo Memories
• “Then Sings My Soul” Musical – Local musicians offer musical on history and
• sing 30 beloved hymns
• Annual Christmas Party
• “Beware of Scams and Cons”

Senior Ministry Breakfast

Sr. Ministry Breakfast meets on first Thursday of each month at Oregon Dairy Restaurant for a time of food, fellowship, and fun. This group fluctuates in the number of participants depending on the season, the weather and schedules.
