Matthew 25

Kids @ Highland

Children’s Ministry Mission Statement

He took a little child whom he placed among them. Taking the child in his arms, he said to them “Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”  –Mark 9:36-37

Kids @ Highland in the time of COVID

Kids through 5th grade are invited to join Miss Jenn, Interim Director of Christian Education, and a rotation of other teachers every Sunday morning at 9:30 am and 11:00 am for Sunday School. Our curriculum will follow “The Story” curriculum along with the whole congregation. Each week we will hear a new Bible story, design our own Bible characters, and invite God’s story to be our story.

Children should begin each service with their parent/guardian after signing in at the welcome center at the Fellowship Hall entrance. Then, children will be dismissed from each service and walk to classroom 102 with their teachers. Parents/guardians may pick up their children after the service in the classroom. The nursery will be open at the beginning of every service. Children in the nursery can be picked up in classroom 102 at the end of each service.
