The Highland Library will be sponsoring a “Marketplace” event to raise funds for the library. This will be a “FUN” way for you to share your forgotten treasures with others. The event will be held on Saturday, October 8 in the lower parking lot from 8:00am – 1:00pm. The library will raise funds by charging $25 to rent a space and $10 to rent a table (optional). You bring your items on the day of the event and keep any money made in sales. You are responsible to take all unsold items with you at the end of the day. There will be only 30 spots available; and they will be on a first come, first serve basis. All registrations, including payment, must be in church office by October 5, 2022. Registration forms are available in the Narthex or here: Highland Marketplace Parking Lot Event.
Since the event is a fundraiser for the library, the library committee is asking for donations of “selected” books to sell. Space will be limited, so we are asking only for fiction (both hardback and paperback) and biographies from the last ten years, children’s books, puzzles, travel and beautiful coffee table books, CDs and recent DVDs. Materials can be deposited in the library until October 2. Stay tuned for more information about donating bake sale goods! Thank you for helping to make our event a success.
